Nice opening; fiercely evocative of something distinctly, poetically season specific. :)

Such an unmistakable image of innocence and sensory nostalgia; I felt like I was there, running the streets in the rain, inhibition-free with the other kids. Well done.

Some intriguing wordchoices here! That said, I think there may be a couple words missing, here: "be industrious rubbing my (?)"

"leaves falling (on?) her body"
