I liked the poem. it did for me all that was needed. To improve you need only write more poems and your master piece will come. The reader decides which is your master piece, this poem could be someone's master piece. I do not think a poem is about keeping up to these times, the past got us here, us...

It amazes me what people can write about. So much to write about. I like this poem and this site is so much fun. Poems for every minute of the day or night.

The Wizard of Love

THE WIZARD OF LOVE 1.11 a.m. 11th June 2004 They all came from miles and nobody spoke, They all stared for hours but never he woke, A man went around with a bucket for tears, No one saw it coming but he had been for years, He had died long ago but knew no one could know it, He had to remain and live...

Thank you. You seem like an educated person. You can teach me a little of what i lack. I will have a few more poems on the site, you can comment on them. I know i have an audience, every poet has an audience and we will see if you become a part of mine or if i become a part of yours.

We all need a little self pitty to move on. I feel i should no longer be honest now. Should my ways of writing not be known? My biography would make poor reading if i was to leave out the reason I became what i have become.

My favourite poems are The Balled Of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde The Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner by S.T. Coleridge They were read to me as a child and i just liked hearing the voice of someone reading to me, i never cared who wrote them or who they were about. But after writing many poems i got poe...

This poem made me think and i felt thoughtless. You have written about something most know nothing about. Well done. Keep on writing more, the page is empty without you.

I know your dance and i danced down the page with this poem. I read it three times. I find this is the minimum attention a poem should get. Reading this poem of yours made me want to read another. Your mind holds the pen well and your heart pumps your ink. You are a fine poet.

Thanks very much. I like your opinions. I will be looking for your poems. I was worried when i started as i am not good at living and not educated but you can not be taught how to be a poet at University, you are born with it. It was when a student took one of my poems to a reading of past poets and...

Thank you for your comment. It is not negative. We all write different and we are all different. I write lyrics do, maybe that is what i am. I do not know what a poet is, i know a poem is what i have written. I am not educated with words as i left school at 15 and taught myself then epilepsy took aw...

Smelling Mornings

SMELLING MORNINGS 5.23 p.m. September 2003 It is hard to wake up with the sunrise, When the nights go on too long, I find the nights are long enough, But in nights are where i belong, These daily days are all filled up, With people I love and call friends, I write for them and strangers too, I think...

The Wordman

THE WORD MAN 2.27 a.m. 20th March 2003 I am just like you, i feel it too, As i wander off thoughtless into what is new, I sit on the grass where i once knelt, Where i would write a bit of how i once felt, I'd write of my sweetness and how it did melt, Even I am not interested in how i then felt, Eve...
