This is gorgeous! The perspective of depth and distance, the color. I'd take it to our State Fair fine arts show!

My impression is : massive, vast and boundless. Is that a winding road on the right and a body of water in the middle of far distance?
Enjoyed it.

Hi mac and JJ, glad you both can connect title with the drawing, it is one of the features of this kind of work. Hi churinga, I take in all your comments, it's very helpful . I agree the foreground bushes or rock are a bit too heavy, ink and water were not controlled well so there is no air to breat...

It has luxuriant vegetation at the foot of the mountain. The detail of the small sign adds the finishing touch. Lotus has a very interesting comment by saying: "as if there is a diagonal from upper left endlessness increases the western focus of reading from left to right " :) Similar to &...

Hi Pauline,
Tried something different this time.
They are meant to be plum blossoms coming out in cold winter.
You are very sensitive to colors.
Snow is intentionally left blank.
Thank you for your encouraging comments!

Re: 60
Hi David, 60 is a milestone in one's life. As Confucius says :" At sixty, my ear was an obedient organ for the reception of truth." :) I like the conversational tone that reflects the writer's present state of mind, easy to read into it. I like the mellowness in the poem. Cheers, Lake

Hi Paulin,
If it is a result of inspiration, it is already a plus!
The small rocks gathering together in the front made me think they are close to the shore or in the shallow water?
Appreciate your creation.

Hi JJ,
Very impressive! I like landscaping drawings. Looking at it makes people fall into a reverie.
The snow, clouds and mist blend into each other beautifully.
Did you draw it from a picture taken or from your memory?
