Re: Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead
Hi everyone, I'm just popping in to update you on what's happening with Caleb, in case it's of use or interest to you. At the moment, it's looking unlikely that he'll return to this forum. I've been in touch with him via email quite a lot lately, and I've been trying to work out the best way forward...

Re: John, Fliss, Ray, David, and Tristan
You're welcome, Tristan. I'm actually considering a competition at the moment, as if I submit only one poem (out of the maximum three), it'll just be £4.00. I'll see how it turns out, though. I might end up submitting for free to a journal and putting the pounds towards a poetry present

Re: John, Fliss, Ray, David, and Tristan
Just tiptoeing in to say thanks to MacPhil, Caleb, Tristan for the congrats. And congrats to Tristan in return 🥳 Caleb, I hope you'll try again; the next issue of Snakeskin will be published at the beginning of February. Tristan, I enjoyed your essay. I've entered a few Ekphrastic Review contests th...

Re: To Heal Is Not a Day’s Work
Greetings, John, and apologies for not making much sense yesterday evening! What we meant was, could the line about looking through the archives use some sea imagery, maybe? N might be searching a shipwreck or something; that's probably not a good suggestion (we're very tired again), but hopefully i...

Re: To Heal Is Not a Day’s Work
Well, this is splendid, John. Members of the Coo-mmunity can't think of much to suggest at the moment, but we'll return if we do. The imagery is excellent and we wonder whether 'archives' might find a place in the sea theme (^v^)

Re: On a Photograph I Threw into the Trash
Ooh, thank-coos John, how pleasant. We appreciate the notes on Accessibility, under Services. Of course when we attempt day trips we are generally accompanied by Mr T and at least one of the ginger giants, who are known for rearranging the scenery to accommodate our requirements. Mr T has a knack fo...

Greetings, John,
A bit sad, indeedy. We're happy to have spotted the mastered landscape and are intrigued by the palace. We wish you well with the poem (^v^)

Re: On a Photograph I Threw into the Trash
Greetings, John, We enjoyed reading this poem, although we found it rather sad (*v*) Now, 'the Pitti Palace'; this is somewhere in Italy, perhaps? We like 'the mastered landscape' so soon after the unlearned habit of smiling. The grey is significant too. We're a little stuck on what N is unable to h...

Re: Furrow and Negation
Greetings, John, We just have time for a little comment this evening, before snackage and bed. This seems to be a pocket poem much in favour of the seed, hooray. We wonder about 'Out of'; might the seed grow 'Within'? Sorry if we've misunderstood! '[T]he pristine architecture' is a surprise and a de...

Re: The Great Machine That Gives Things Meaning
Greetings, John, This appears to be another night poem of sorts. For members of the Coo-mmunity, it captures what can be a vulnerable time on waking, trying to make sense of things. We're slightly reminded of Yeats, with things falling apart, trust in this instance (*v*) S2 intrigues for its introdu...
