I like the translation of the 3 americanisms into their english equivalents Aah, I see. That completely passed me by. That makes two of us... Is this a statement about the limitations of the teenage mind? Teens often reach for cliches when expressing themselves, and find them in pop culture? And they hate their parents?

I like those boats. Brings me right back to childhood. I used to fantasize quite a bit about floating away on things that shouldn't float. I took the last line to be an extension of the sentiment of lines 8-10. The teacher is intimating a bet.

This feels like it was written to be performed. It's both off-putting and endearing.

The shed/instead rhyme I found obtrusive.

On the whole I had fun reading it, but it doesn't do a lot for me.
