The Tangled Branch will be running a NAPO forum (National Poetry Writing Month) if anyone is interested. Basically you write a poem a day for the month of April. No critique involved. It is on one of the hidden forums so you will need to become a member of the site. https://www.tangledbranch.com/boa...

I think tastes in poetry are very fragmented John.

Re: Still (version 2)

I like the floorboards line Caleb. Reminded me of Samuel Beckett, where awareness and significance, through isolation, shrinks to small worlds.

Re: Random Bloke

It's a viewpoint John, and a sensible one, though difference is such a stimulus to conflict. Hopefully, communication helps a tad.

Re: Posting Limit

Post more than 2 poems a day.

I have updated that rule John to take into account those that post at weekends.

I think it may restore a balance between frequent and infrequent posters of poems Caleb.

Posting Limit

I think a two poem limit per week is a reasonable rule for PAT.
For example, one poem posted in Experienced and one poem posted in Beginners, or two poems posted in Beginners.

Re: No Ways Tired

The marionette is free! The reference to hang/grove perhaps a darker echo🤔 'I have outlasted my belief' is a great line. Thank you for sharing your MS John. I am not religious, but the poems did give me some insight on the illness. Congratulations on your survival and triumph!

Re: Byways (Arachne Press)

Thanks John and Caleb. This poem is not on PAT. I sometimes write a poem by cannibalising parts of my 'pocket poems' that I post here.

Re: The Opposite of Time

Much liked the imaginative image of glowing skin through the consumption of ones poetry John. If God was watching a glass of water made me wonder if She thirsts🤔 Of course, that would reflect some humanity🤣
