I can hardly believe my eyes! I logged on to post about the short stories I have been listening to via The New Yorker's fiction Podcasts. I am rather addicted.
What great timing, this is a wonderful article, David! I have scanned once and will read it again later, thanks for sharing it.
One the podcast stories I have been in complete awe of is IWilliam Trevor's "A Day", so many layers and so subtle and gentle with the characters. The collection it comes from is sitting in my basket at Amazon. Perhaps, I will add your suggestion to the basket as well!
