Over the last few weeks Nicki has spent an inordinate number of hours wrestling with dynamic web templates, style sheets and fire foxes etc (and many other things which go completely over the head of a Luddite such as I) in order to re-design the main PG site. Well, we have just published it and it seems to be "out there" and (fingers crossed) working.

See - http://www.poetsgraves.co.uk/index.html

We hope that it now looks more professional and that, in due course, we may be able to drum up some advertising revenue. (Nicki's gone to lie down in a darkened room so if you find any mistakes, please don't tell us until later on.)

Major thanks go to Kris (camus) who very kindly designed us a free header which, I think, looks great and adds a true touch of class to the proceedings. His has embedded 4 famous poets. Can you tell who they are yet?? Some of you may not know that Kris is a professional web designer (based in Grimsby) - see http://www.freewheelin.co.uk - and a very good one too! Cheers mate.

The only down side to the new site is that it has made some of my biogs look (even more) shabby - so I'm going to have to get my finger out. Should keep me busy for the next 20 years at least.

Cheers

Looks good. Somehow more accesible. Certainly gives the forum a more prominent link and should entice more 'closet poets' to 'come out'.

Well done.

Cleaner, crisper, more professional looking. Plus as Dave mentioned the new navigation is more accessible.

Good show.

PS Nicki, goodie bag on its way.
