Aside from the fact most other boards I've joined in the past use 100x100 as the standard Avatar size, and this forum using 80x80 is more than a little strange, why is there no automatic resizing option in the UCP? Most other sites have one, and I'm not at my photoshop computer right now, so can't resize one of my other 100x100 avatars. :(

Any reason why this function is omitted? Is it just v-bulletin?

I know the problem I am still using the provided avatars since my usual one is 100x100 and I can't be arsed to resize and find somewhere to host it. I think it is a phpbb thing.

hmm...

I just tested this. Resizing seems to happen automatically.

I picked a random image >80x80 and it seemed to work fine.
