Hullo, hullo, hullo.

Ignoring the username, feel free to call me Jon; I've been writing poetry for a little while, and I've found that sharing it with other people is a lot more fun than keeping it all to myself. I'm also a singer-songwriter of sorts... and a semi-competent fast bowler!

And so on. Look forward to meeting you all =]

Welcome Jon

I hope you find this a fun and safe place to share your stuff - poems and songs. The lyric section could do with some more activity.

Hullo is itself quite an unusual spelling, I think, so you're clearly a cove who knows his own mind. Hope you enjoy yourself here.

It is rather, isn't it?
I just like the way it sounds.

Thank you both anyhow! I was thrilled to see the mp3 uploading gubbins, incidentally. I've had quite a few songs knocking about the place for while, needing some feedback.

Welcome. Fast bowling will be a useful skill on this site (she says darkly).

Hah! As if a girl would know that. (Hang on. You're on the edge of t'moors. You don't open for Yorkshire, do you?)

Well, you're not likely to bowl a maiden over, are you?
