Greetings from South Africa

Hello Everyone,

I have been writing for ten years and experimented with most forms and genres of poetry and prose. Most of my work is formal and recounts stories, myths and legends from the geographical region where I have spent my life – Southern Africa.

I possess no formal literary qualifications and my humble writing skills are self taught. My forte is the use of poetic devices and their unconscious effect on the reader.

I travel widely and have explored most places in Southern Africa and met its diverse people. The land in which I live offers a very wide range geographic climates from tropical forest, through mountain plateau to Mediterranean coastline but I love the desert biomes most for their scenery, solitude and timeless spirituality.

I hope to contribute with my particular strengths just as I hope you can assist me overcoming my weaknesses. Due to the ethnic nature of my writing, most non-Africans will not understand some of the words so I attach notes and explanations where necessary. Please forgive this impurity.
