That's an impressive collection of bottles you're sitting in front of, John!

Ros - cheers - it was taken at a "come done with me" night I was doing - a shed load of nice wine tends to make any evening swing.

You're kidding no-one.

All that's missing is a steaming bowl of fish and brewis.

A very happy birthday to you, Suzanne. I hit 50 a couple of years ago. Nearly three, now, dammit. Don't fret. 50 is the new 40. And 60 will be the new 30. Just you wait.

Cheers

Happy Birthday Suzanne!

There's really no need to salute though......or is that an Eric Morcambe thing you're doing there?

Who is Eric M.? I must find out! it is the second time in 24 hours someone has referred to him... Google Is a wonderful thing.

Thank you both for the well wishes. Lol, friends help minimize the shock... Perhaps ...
Friends and wine, yes. Wine is the ticket. Another Saturday night round for all!

If you ever happen to be in the UK Suzanne then don't ever say that aloud, I think that you can still be locked in the tower for that! Definitely treason!

Nash,
If I get thrown in the tower, I might bring a friend.
Haven't I heard it has room service to die for? I also hear it is the local haunt for all sorts of Royalty. Who knows what could happen?

Thanks, Ben, for the well wishes and the really really BIG cake.

Warmly,
Suzanne

Nice one Steve, I wonder if we've ever met around the shows. Myself and my wife used to travel around the craft shows and country fairs selling our wares. Not any more though, we only sell online now (we've finally got our weekends back, hurrah!!)

Perhaps we should do a collaboration, call ourselves Ogden Nash!!!

Great picture, Steve. It's funny how seeing what someone looks like can change the way you approach them (online). Now that I know you appear to be Gandalf's younger brother (which in my book is a good impression to give), I shall tread more warily.

Thankyou Suzanne, I was wearing it quite short there. I'm usually much woollier.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way...

Back when I was homeless and (as evidenced by the second picture) possessed by a demon. Good times.

Great picture, Megan, and what a great person to be photographed with. I couldn't compete with that. I could post a picture of me, aged 13, with Michael Rodd, but that would be far too disturbing for all concerned.
