I had cataract surgery on my right eye this morning. The lens had clouded up, and much of my visual field looked like it had cotton in it.
I asked the surgeon to give me clear near vision to make it easier to work at my computer. He did, but as it hasn't even been a day since the surgery, the visual field is a little blurry. I'm not only seeing halos, I'm seeing ghosting.
Has anyone here had cataract surgery? If so, how long did it take your eye to heal up?

Thanks for your comments. Right now, more than a day after surgery, my eyesight has improved dramatically, and my right eye (which had the surgery) is now sharper and clearer than my left eye. The operation was a huge success. Not only that, it gave me a longer range of good focus than I expected it to. I'm on my way to see the surgeon, and I think I'll give him a kiss. (I didn't, but I thanked him profusely for his good work.)
