Great graves. I'm not sure we're a great deal to do with Ludwig Boltzmann, though now you've inspired me to squeeze him into a poem somewhere.

I visited John Clare's grave a few weeks back (we were in the area, it wasn't like a pilgrimage or anything). His has carved into the stone "A poet is born not made" and, quite fittingly, the final letter "e" has faded a little.

I keep looking for a "Like" icon. I think I've become Facebook-dependent. Ironic, really, for anybody who's actually seen my face.

Our man can also be seen on the left hand side of the next picture - tucked away behind the Rector, a set of chairs and a drum kit!

I'm off there again tomorrow with our Year 6 monkeys. Wahey!

I think you're confusing Richard, Lord Grey de Wilton with Dame Judith of Durham.

Brilliant!
I'm sorely tempted to post this in the "Found Poetry" section, thereby getting all the credit! :)
Instead of just sitting on the fence - why not stand in the middle of the road?
