Hi,

I've recently given in and joined the 21st century by buying an android phone. I can view graves, just in chrome, but it is a lot of scrolling and zooming.

Does anybody know an app that would present a phpbb board n a mobile-friendly manner?

I don't have a mobile phone.

I didn't have phone before either... but I gave up and got a smart phone. It is kind of handy to be able to check misc internetty things from wherever.

(Except that when the M1 was closed on Friday, there was mysteriously no data connection. Probably because the other 500 discombobulated motorists were all doing the same thing.

Welcome to the world of Android :)

I absolutely love my phone and use it for just about everything - for playing mp3s, games, the internet, email, web development, banking, sat nav. Oh, and phone calls too...

As for your question, there are a couple, but I've never tried them and they don't rank too highly on google play. However, you can just install them, give them a whirl, and uninstall them if you're not too impressed.

here's a couple of links:
agilistBB
ForumTouch

There's also something called Tapatalk, but I think this needs to be activated on the forum itself and then the uses use the app. Not sure about that though (I haven't looked into it).

Anyway, let us know how they work out for you, if at all.

I assume PG has to be registered with these apps before they are available.

I would REALLY like PG to be linked to a new forum app.
Is this possible? please?

Taptalk is a fine format.

Hello?
Hello??

Warmly,
Suzanne

I've found I don't try to access it very much from mobile, and I can get by with aggressive zooming in on Chrome when I do...

If you really want tapatalk setting up then you need to mention it to Nicola, but she's doing the administration by kind donation of her own time so it might depend how much of said time is required.

I am only too aware how apparently simple bits of computer set-up sometimes snowball to fill the whole of foreseeable time :-(
