Well, we had a very minimalist PG meet-up, and it was great to meet David and Vanessa and Kieran again. It's definitely worth doing. I hope next year we might manage something more people want to come along to.

Rosencrantz: What are you playing at? Guildenstern: Words. Words. They're all we have to go on.

Photos?

Photos!!!? That's so twentieth century. It should be video-streamed live from head-cams, with remote guests skyped onto tablets strapped to the faces of motion-controlled surrogates dressed like characters in Blade Runner. That's not too much to expect these days, is it?

To be fair, we were all dressed as characters from Blade Runner. And on the Sunday, when it rained, the atmosphere was perfect.

Ros, one can only imagine the number of heads you were obliged to crush between unhumanly athletic thighs.

BTW, you've instinctively written a great haiku/senryu:

Yes, it was fun, but - due to numbers - quite low-key. Rather than, disappointingly, Loki. More higher-key if we do it again would be good. More people. It's Field of Dreams time, folks.

Yay, glad to hear you had a great time in Manchester.
I'm so sorry I couldn't join you.
I so wanted to be there.
I fully intended to go but wor lad had been working away and he announced he was coming home that weekend. :|
I'd already missed his previous weekend visit, partying in Camden with my boy and daughter
Count me in for the next one.
