Thanks for your input. What a wonderful limmerick you have composed, delightful in every way, it has lifted me, the chime of your rhyme has come just in time! Fantastic.

Now, I just happen to have written a little poem, my first actually, a sonnet. I've left it in Beginners and it's called The Light. Oh, I'm not suggesting you go there and leave some feedback (hint), no not at all that just wouldn't be me. And I didn't flatter your limmerick just so you would go flatter my poem (hint), oh no not at all! But if you did would be much appreciated, lol. Wink.

Limericks are most certainly not "fine".

There once was a smart girl called Anne
Who devised her own educational plan
She'd go to Reading University
Change her surname to Thology
And learn by heart all the best poems she can

You see what I mean? I just wrote that and it's bloody awful. So don't say you weren't warned.
