Still reading the second guy's story, so I've not got near the actual text (which I suspect will hold little for me...)

I see the authors are committed to the idea that W was in love with S, even though they've given no information that suggests that, and W said he just liked that one of her names rhymed with one of his...

I wonder whether some species of synaesthesia in part explains the great significance that W clearly found in the rhythm and sound of words?

One thing I like about the whole story is the way that the "discoverers" of W insert themselves and their ideas into the narrative, the way they freely make connections between their lives and the W story (both his text and his life). It's all so dirty and connected.

The original text is quite hypnotic but not really something any sane person could read all the way through. I wouldn't mind a copy though.
