Am I the last PG-er to catch on to this site?
Doors close Oct 31 … a Samhain to remember!
It's a great site inviting all-comers to 'pin' their poems to a map of these fair isles. Inspired by early 17th century dude Michael Drayton's 'Poly- Olbion' epic, it's self-selecting (you'll find both suet and silver sixpences here) and in my view under-subscribed.
They plan a spin-off anthology so you might even get in print.
How many PG-ers can you spot? I only found one! (apart from me of course . . . I've 'poem-bombed' the American Ambassador's Residence in Regent's Park).
Armitage kicked it off, get your timing right and you could probably stick the final pin.

Hi Jules. That may be me.
Thanks for the link.
I've just dropped mine in half an hour ago. :)
Middlesbrough.

Some great stuff posted there.
In my rush, I posted a random poem.
I thought it was about poets from all areas posting their poem of choice.
I then went on to read several others posted, to discover they were mainly about the place they lived.
Oh. The penny dropped a little too late for me.
Ok. I guess mine wont be appearing on the map.

I was waiting for an e-mail to say Sorry, but the content of your poem is not suitable

Anyway, to my surprise, I dandered on over there a short while ago to see it settled in my chosen spot.
How lovely. :D

I'll be in the anthology
We fray into the future, rarely wrought
Save in the tapestries of afterthought.
