Moving on
How, or who, can decide if a poem in the beginners board is ready, or can be, moved to the experienced board for further critique? Comments in the beginners board seems to have come to a halt, which is suggesting to me that nothing more can be added at that level.
Alas, it doesn't work like that, Ron. A poem will garner the comments it gets, pretty much regardless of where it's posted. The question of who should actually post where can be a vexed one, but I'm inclined to think that people should follow their heart. That is possibly not a majority opinion, though.
You just have to cast your bread upon the waters, and see who bites.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for responding. It's just that I'm trying to find my feet within this forum to determine what is and what isn't practiced.David wrote:Alas, it doesn't work like that, Ron. Yes I'm in agreement with David.but I'm inclined to think that people should follow their heart. That is possibly not a majority opinion, though.
There is (and always has been) a certain, perhaps unnecessary, contention that exists between exp and beg.
That said there are certain "rules" that do prevent anarchy! But I'd say go for it, post in exp. You'll soon figure out whether you belong there or not.
NB - A thicker skin is probably required.
