God help me!
I know the rules
But something stirs
To pen this duel!
I know I shouldn't
The rules they’re there
But in this moment
I have to share!
Face this challenge
of the governing body
To withhold my flow
I will post and lobby!
Defend my right
My creative flow
To land and fire
My poets bow
Shoot for freedom
I will and say!
Trace my pen
Express my way!
One hundred and ten
One hundred more
Creative flow
Needs to be explored!
One a day you say
To all?
For heavens sake
We are tied and stalled!!
Saturation
Damnation
Liberation I say!
Alas, dear lass
Your just like us
Rules are rules
Don’t make a fuss!!
I hear them whisper
Loud and clear
One poem a day
Can't you HEAR?
Yes! Yes!
I know the rules
But something stirs
My inner duel
To express
Release
Get this out
Break the rule
End this drought!
Find MY space
I will, I can!
Never confined
Ever again!

Hi Paula,
I cannot quite picture what's going on here... although you are obviously discussing it with great energy.
Maybe if you were to set the scene a bit more first? It might only take a sentence...
Other than that, a nit:
You've got "your" instead of "you're" in S9...

Paula - When you step out of the box, you see perspectives not seen before. You draw on inner strengths not drawn on before. You write the words not written before to bring a vision perhaps not seen before. Somewhere in there is the poet's liberation. Enjoyed Paula. Namyh
