I should have fixed it.
She pulled cashmere
over her head.
The light-bulb swung,
dropped to the floor.
Desperate for the view.
It was gone, sucked
up the broken socket.
My optic nerves
clung hard to an outline
while my tongue
redefined its role
by filling in the detail.

Cleverly written as ever. Specially liked the ending lines and the title.Enjoyed.
