When love travels, this is what love packs:
A passport to life's toughest places
A multiple-entry visa to hearts' wildernesses
1 x fake moustache, 1 x dark glasses
(for use when love travels incognito)
A map with contour detail of earlobes; backs
of knees; small of back; thighs (the upper reaches)
A moral compass (I'm so lost without this)
A pocket rocket, for emotional sustenance
in the bare hours
When love travels, love travels light
travels with hope
travels without expectation
I get the odd postcard.
I can't wait, though, for love to get back.
Love's travels

Mic,
This was fun. I love the pocket rock.
The first line sets up the poem nicely but think the flow would be better if it were shortened into just one phrase.
and I would leave out the "x" since everything only has one.
This was a nice poem to brighten my day.

Hey, Mic.
Ha - yes, this is good. Good, good. Reminds me of a 'recipe poem' idea I have yet to develop.
Your checklist idea is well thought out and nicely delivered.
FWIW, I think it could be expanded, but perhaps bervity is what you were after. If so, it still delivers.
Nice.

Oh yes, a lovely read. Specially:
"1 x moral compass (I'm so lost without this)"
- You know Mic, for this reason only I fear such travels!
I second Suzanne about deleting the 'x'.
Enjoyed.

Many thanks aru, Suzanne, Lovely and Neil.
Suzanne, aru - I take your points about the 'x's so have removed most.
Neil - I think you are right, there could be more to this, Love is maybe travelling a bit light. Arf! Want to avoid stretching the concept too thin though.

Enjoyed this poem very clever, I think you could add a lot more with just a bit more thought, unique idea and made me smile, liked it very much.x ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
