Digging into Afghanisthan soil
I recovered tombs
of Bible, Koran and Bhagvad Gita
lying in a row

I engraved roses into the earth’s skin
beside each holy scripture
and scribbled a note:

To whoever reading this,
Pray, that your Gods do not tremble
with the scream of each missile

Thank you for this.
I can recall how shocked I and my friends were when we heard the news of the destruction of those great carvings, and the disgust we felt for the intolerance of the people who would do such a thing ( though few nations have not been guilty of this kind of iconoclasm over the years)

Your line about recovering the tombs of the Bible, Koran, and Bhagvad Gita have a compelling accuracy: these religions all seem to have been entombed during that past few decades. We can only hope that the prayer you wrote is uttered by many, and answered: but what a Spartan minimum to hope for! Perhaps there might one day be a miracle, and your carved roses truly blossom out of the dust.

There is something of (strangely !) Khayam, and also Tagore about the feeling of this poem, though the spare verses are your very own.

Thank you again

Of constructing tribal lays
And Every Single One Of Them Is Right"

Deep this. You ok for me.

Those gardens so ancient and so beautiful, eh?

I am opening out now. We painted them under the crescent moon always.

Enjoyed your memory here. This is you, and why you need to continue to write.

I like the fact that you are touching your inner being and expanding higher Aru
