inside a local train
coins in his bowl
rattle with the jerks

ice cream vendor
wipes his forehead
in cloudless June
squeaking handle
of a deep tube-well

Sunday morning
rocks with
‘Smoke on the water’
two flippant grasshoppers
near the lake
