POETRY.

Poetry is in your mind ,an explosion of feelings and warmth that embres your consciousness at all times.

The ancient rythmes of words which is only a fleeting glimpse of what was once a language through all mankind.

This is the way we solve our problems in our minds and we should embrace the fact that everyone is different in their own way or inclined.

The troubles we cause in each others lives is not because we don,t understand another point of view , it is that we all share different views based on the same facts so understanding them and their view is what you must do so find.

A collection of people in the majority of a view does not reasonably mean that they are right or wrong but we still see this as a way of solving our problems as a society today which is archaic and irresponsible way for people to die for a cause in design.

I live in a world full of people who do not have the right to live a life that they choose because of ideas from people who now would be laughed at and ridiculed for their ways of thinking, I say resigned.

Hi Peter. Not much i feel i can say about this, only that you make some good points, but i feel in a way that could lend itself to a much more succinct way of writing. What i mean by that is by using metaphors and very carefully selected verse you could put these ideas into a more poetic verse. Think showing instead of telling if that makes any sense.

"This is the way we solve our problems in our minds"
- Is that so? Do we really find solutions through poetry? Most often I come across poems which are about a personal loss or suffering, but I wish to see solutions being offered. That would have been the ideal case.

I applaud your effort in building the piece, as it becomes the most difficult task to write a poem about poems.

- I agree with all this, but don't you feel it's too "prosy"?

I also wish if the ending could be more clear. However, kudos again for the effort.

L2 is an amazing line PK. Wow.

How true it is at the end for any Artist.....or should be that is i feel.

Your no nonesense approach to these eternal problems is a great help to us all.

I really like most of your ideas here, especially the first and second lines. Awesome. I disagree with your idea about majority rule though. I think the majority should get to decide most of the time , and that in fact these days minorities hold a lot of power! I agree with Amadeus too - it could definitely be made a touch more poetic without too much work, it's got great rhythm to it.

I liked the thinking out loud feel to this piece but jarred a little in one or two areas which seem to assume
there is a universal approach to some aspects of the statements. For instance " This is the way we solve our problems in our minds"
Can you have any degree of certainty that "we solve" or is this how many people solve or is it how you personally solve?
I do enjoy poetry that revolves around a person´s pondering of such subjects and think you have some good ideas that
can be structured and approached in a slightly less statement like manner if you feel inclined to do so.
