[Renhai Minimum Definition:
1. Three independent haiku (formatted as 3-lines, 2-lines, 3-lines).
2. Each haiku (verse) links uniquely to the other two verses in some way.
3. Each verse references at least one common theme.
4. A seasonal reference (kigo) is desired. If there is a season then only one season is referenced by at least one verse. If there is no kigo then the renhai should be nature-based and would be considered "Non-seasonal" or "All season".
5. There is an appropriate title.
Renhai is generally a collaboration between two poets. This is a Solo Renhai.Smiles.]

Poems everybody...poems.. the laddie fancies himself a poet!..Pink Floyd-The wall.
Excellent, as always. If I had to quibble, 'flying-machine' felt awkward in the second one...

Good imagery as always. I'm with Jon on "flying machine". I picture it as airplane unless there's something other than that.
If you continue this pattern, say, 3 lines/2lines/3lines/2lines..., it is a renga, is it? Except that renga is written by more than one person.
Cheers,
Lake

Thanks BinB, Jms and Lake. I used "flying machine" to give an ancient feel to the ordinary "helicopter". Flying machine brings to my mind the earlier / primitive models of aircrafts. Somehow the primitiveness connected with the age-old floods, an 'original sin' of Nature. Just played with it.
Need to know more about Renga to comment. Smiles. Thanks, everyone.
