It's grotesque, isn't it.

I'm attempting to show the castaway's pov on the day he was shipwrecked. It's part 1 of a couple
that hopefully says something about how perspectives depend on circumstance. A beautiful ship
becomes a wreck and a tropical island looks like hell. I'm not going for realism, more a personal
feeling through expressive art.

I'm just about finished part 2 which will be titled, "The Castaway's Perspective on the Day of His Rescue."
With luck the two paintings will show this difference. It's part of an art poem, perhaps.

The blue sky was a last minute addition (the light blue, that is). The red and yellow sky would indeed help to further
emphasise the difference. Thanks for the thought; I'll change that.
