This is several years old. I only do canvases and drawings now and don't have a camera so can't display them. This was done using a mouse and Windows 'Paint' app plus 'Garage Band' app to record the music.

Very nice and soothing music, Ross. At first I thought you were playing a classy classical guitar then couldn't decide. It had an acoustic sound
but I wondered if you'd added a pickup. Whatever, the tone was beautiful. My guitar badly needs new strings. I know that now.
I also enjoyed the abstract nature of the art, with the colours carrying the day. The music did dominate for me so I'll have a couple of reruns
to see where it takes me.
Best

I don't play any more but I used to play a classical guitar in an acoustic fingerpicking style. As I played less in middle age the steel strings of an acoustic became too hard on my fingers so I switched to classical. I'm glad you like the music. I never could get it loud enough, the technical aspects of putting this together were compllcated.
cheers

Hey Ross.
Some great pieces here
Problem is, they roll past before I can get a good look at them.
So feedback is proving difficult.
The music is really nice too.
However, (and this is just my own preference) I feel each painting should have it's own music. (If you intend to set your art to music)
Y'know, to compliment or set the tone of your artwork.
Just a thought
Anyways, nice to see you around and sharing your work
I look forward to seeing more.

Hi Pauline.
It works best if you enlarge it and you can always click pause to view each painting. I have done a few slide shows on YouTube, different combinations of spoken poetry, music and paintings. I called the poetry 'click pause poetry'.
There are 2 wonderful poetry/visual/music YouTubes by 'four seasons' productions, both Neruda poems, with subtitles, I love recommnending them, one is 'Leaning into the afternoons' ( Inclinado en las tardes) the other 'Poem 20' (poema 20).
cheers

Ooops. Never thought of that. Just saw them whizzing by and got all discombobulated as to where to focus my attention.churinga wrote: It works best if you enlarge it and you can always click pause to view each painting.
I shall do just that.
Have you not thought to do the same and take a screen shot. If you press control and printscreen you can save the image. Then you could download and save each piece and offer each individually for critique.
They deserve individual attention.
I know.churinga wrote:I have done a few slide shows on YouTube,
I spotted one of you giving a tour of your garden
You could have gotten dressed Churinga
Lovely house and garden by the way.
View is stunning.

OK. I'll check those out. Yay. Fantastic. It's great that you have embraced technology and developed your Art. I have not tried this yet but I fully intend to.churinga wrote: I did try a lot of arts. Modern technology allowed me to combine them.
David Hockney ( and I'm sure many more, but he is one of my fave local painters) has done some great stuff using Paint and probably other programmes I am not aware of,
me being computer illiterate.
I went to his exhibition in London last year and thoroughly enjoyed sauntering through his history of older paintings to his current lightbox offerings.
80 years old and this man is still open and aware and developing even after all these years of painting.
Erm, see above.churinga wrote:I am 71 so now most of it is in the past.
Keep at it Churinga.
My studio partner is 73 and is still painting some fantastic stuff.
I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks Pauline,
that was a place I stayed at in the Dandenongs, Victoria, sent it to a friend in Sofia, Bulgaria. I live in Sydney now, finally enough money to buy an apartment, it has lovely views too.
It's a small world, I met Hockney's brother in Sydney. I have always liked Hockney's work. I knew he used a camera and photoshop to create some of his art.
I have each of my works as a separate file, I have had two transferred to canvas. But mostly I have used them in various YouTubes. I have posted some on another poetry forum but have a few that havn't been seen before, i'll post them soon. And maybe another unseen poetic slideshow.
kind regards
Ross
