I am leaving thank you messages all over the place. It was nice to see this but sorry for the pull out from the Board. I am in Sweden at the moment and computerless, writing this from the Library! Will be back soon, to catch up then. Kind regards from sunny and sometimes wet Sweden. C+

I have had to use the public libray in Liverpool. I hope they have a better system in Sweden.

Anyway. I enjoyed The Catch very much. I don't know what the issue has been with the IBPC (re: Ben Johnson) but they, at least, know excellent poetry when they see it.

My best wishes and congratulations to you.

Very belatedly congratulations on a very well deserved win. Your poems are always a delight to read and any I've seen here would be as worthy of the praise this one has received.

Thank you for the comments, I am returned from my wanderings and still somewhat bemused by all the Interboard fallout. Particularly I feel for Ben, who wrote a very good poem, (he didn't ask for it to be submitted to the Board) and personally I hate confrontations that detract rather than add to the main purpose - writing poetry. But glad to see despite the fallout that is what the people here are doing. Hope to catch up Clara

Yes CJ, the poetry is what's important and I agree it's great that we are all focused on that once again.

Good to have you back!
