My German's about as sharp as a blunt spoon but I'm pretty sure it says "English is the world's language / it is the best language". I could be wrong, but then again, I don't care. Who knew you could pack so much tedium into two short lines?

That doesn't surprise me, after all, you live in the USA where people are still electrocuted to death, morons who believe in creationist crap, another moron as head of state saying that god told him to screw with the lives of millions of American service men and women (forget about the rest of the world). So, having been raised up in such an uncouth, uncultured, and dysfunctional place that believes "old Europe" gave them nothing, I can see why you would say something stupid like that.Bombadil wrote:I'd slap you if I could.

Ray, I'm not advocating violence, but I can understand people's frustrations when you post two lines in a foreign language. I sometimes write in Spanish but would never post any of it here - it being an English language forum, it wouldn't be appropriate.
It's the same thing when you post in Japanese. Post things in English and I'm sure most people will happily comment.

For sure, but if you bothered to look up 'tedium' you'd have avoided sounding like a tautological twat.k-j wrote:Who knew you could pack so much tedium into two short lines?

Ahem,
Perhaps you don't remember since you posted as your less-than-fluent-Japanese-alter-ego when I said it the first time; but I have asked (and quite politely) for everyone to please post primarily in English to avoid us falling into a fog of over educated pedantry where no one does anything except try to prove they're smarter than everyone else. And yet you ignored it, or I suppose blithely dismissed it as you seem wont to do. This is the reason for the harsher reply. I will not apologize for it.
In reply to your slights against my country: First you only further prove your own stupidity by grouping every single one of the 300+ million folks in the USA, assuming that we are all uncouth brigands, just because we live here. Second, no citizenship no opinion. Third, I have no idea which country you are from, but I won't go grouping you with any of them, since I know faux-intellectual pricks like you are, fortunately, few and far between.
Good day,
Keith

Go ahead man, at least give it go and see what you come up with.Bombadil wrote:Third, I have no idea which country you are from, but I won't go grouping you with any of them, since I know faux-intellectual pricks like you are, fortunately, few and far between.

Yes, please Keith, by all means, start selecting countries at random and badmouthing them for no reason so that we all can accuse you of racism and elitism...Go ahead man, at least give it go and see what you come up with.

Man! You are something, look in my profile, you'll see where am from.Bombadil wrote:I'm not your kind. I won't participate in grouping you with any nation. To whichever country you belong, you are surely a blight and an aberration.

I thought it was clear from the way I write (you know the tone and everything), that I'm English.

Wow genius, great slight of hand.

And I feel sorry for America (the sole country to use nuclear bombs, and to drop two of such consecutive bombs on Japan).
This thread has now been locked by an oppressive, mean-spirited American who finds this completely pointless.
