I...guess I was wondering more along the lines of something you could post here.

Oh sorry.
Yeah sure.
Here goes. ..........let the comments roll :?

Madness ll (Published in Bleeding Words)

What I feel is madness,
fury and rage. I'm losing
my sanity and becoming
delirious. My craziness is
turning into lunacy and
it's causing me to go into
a frenzy. I'm wandering
the wrong way and straight
into aberration.

Much At Stake

I opened the coffin
scared to death.
As before me I
saw the beast that
caused death to all
young and old.
Drinking them dry
with no mercy. The
stake in my hand,
the beast below.
Place the stake, to
emd the killing of
all the innocent.
But I couldn't do it,
she was too beautiful
to be destroyed. I
let her end my misery
with the forever fatal
kiss.

No hope for me
Not even a glimmer of sunshine
The moon is bright
But not for me
Darkness is my life
Darkness is me.

I'm sorry, I see a severe lack of poetry within these "Poems"

The genre you choose is obviously Poe territory have you read any Poe?

I believe strongly in studying the masters, something I don't do enough of, for me it should be Larkin, for you I believe Poe would be a great starting point.

No offence.

Of the two I liked the second better. The twist at the end was good. Could have been a little more eerie, though. Not so matter-of-fact, more heart-felt, perhaps?

Yes, Poe would definitely be more your style.

Nope, never read Poe.
I have to say that these poems where what I started with, not my best I agree, but my best are in my books obviously.

But not for me
Darkness is my life
Darkness is me.

That's enough free publicity I think. Feel free to use the forum for what it's intended for.
