This was sprayed onto the wall of a building society in Norwich and seems like a great message in these dark days.
Season's greetings to you all from Nicki and myself. Thanks to everyone who helps to make this forum such a constructive place - especially the mods. I know I'm not about much these days - but I'm very pleased to see that it remains the finest poetry place in the universe. (He says modestly.)

Holiday greetings to Cam and Nicki and the mods and all the poets. This is the best forum I've experienced so far and hope it'll continue to remain the best in the new year.
Your money is safe under the mattress.
What if there's no money in the house? So I'm making some sweet rice wine, hoping at the same time money is being fermented.
Thanks Cam and all,
Lake

I just read "Twas The Night Before Christmas" to my teenagers. They looked at me like I was daft. But it's a tradition so I had to. It's still Christmas Eve here for at least another hour. Merry Christmas to all of you. I hope your day is wonderful with family and friends. And despite the lumpy mattresses my wish is that all of you will be prosperous in 2009.
Love to all,
Kim

Season’s Greetings to one and all.
Cam & Nicki – I agree that the mods do an excellent job, but they wouldn’t have the chance to if you didn’t maintain this excellent site. Thank you for all your behind-the-scenes work. Having received glowing reports about the high quality of this site from other users, I’ve never felt the desire to look elsewhere.
Long may PG prosper.

Very Merry Christmas to all at PG. It's a very welcoming place at all times but I am glad to be spending a virtual Christmas amongst new friends and very good writers. Hope the New Year brings all that everyone wishes for.
Best Wishes from County Down.

Merry Christmas all. See, I already feel like part of the family. Have a mince pie. Thanks for being so welcoming, and here's to a successful 2009.

Too late for me to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, so I just hope it was great for everyone.
And I'll add my appreciation for all the work that goes into the site too.

Yep, belated Christmas wishes to one and all.
Still love this place and all its quirky inhabitants, may it long continue.

Thanks for the reminder Kris, a bit early still, but Happy New Year to everyone here. Have a good night.
- It always used to have - It had two: a white bearded old man carrying a scythe, representing the old year, accompanied by a crawling infant - the new year. I've not seen these two characters for years.k-j wrote:Why doesn't new year have a character / personification?
Happy New Year to everyone.

Belated season's greetings to all! Haven't been allowed near a computer over the holiday period... Or a pen.
Unfortunately my 2009 looks even busier so I may continue to be an infrequent visitor, but I've also been very impressed and learnt an immense amount. Thank you to all for the welcome and the warm encouragement!
