I am a new member from the US. This is the first poem I've posted here. Any comments, critiques, or words of wisdom will be appreciated.

Cycle

It comes:
the dissolution of earth
until only a mirage remains.
Waters desiccate in puffs of vapor;
fires of life diminish to scattered sparks.
Air ceases motion,
the flickering candle
becomes a steady flame
that fills the void with dim light.

Beyond,
a glow of orange pales
to blackness.

In a quantum sufficit of pure light
life begins again.
