Waiting for trains
Waiting for war
Blowing up Muslims to settle the score

Terror on the roads
A War on Terror
NHS non-existent, clinical error

False prophets preaching death
Political Asylum
Manufacturing our last breath
A homemade timebomb

Gucci gun culture
Seems all the rage
Social intolerance
The Spirit of the Age

Politicians ignore the people
They seem not to see
The fuel they are giving to th BNP

Need to downsize
This Government lies
No surprise
Fascism on the rise

The way the country is being run really is a farce
Might as well give the job to Kylie's arse

great, as ever. i love the way you achieve social commentary without it ever becoming patronizing or annoying, as most social commentaries are - your humour makes the poems you write effective and easier to swallow.

Cheers dil.its funny cos I wrote that in 2001.I found it the other day amongst other relics from a half forgotten life and I thought it still seems relevant today.Shame that nothing has changed. Its a simple poem but I like it, and it always get a chuckle.

Kylies arse would be more pleasant to look at in the house of commons...

Nice piece i liked it alot also,I'm surprised the rhyme issue was not raised YET again,It just goes to show that rhyme if used skill-fully works well..

You have presented an ideal solution to all our social ills. Kylie's cleft being symbolic of a divided social Age.

It was a open critique personally i don't mind rhyme to a certain degree..
I mentioned because the rhyme issue has been highlighted in many critiques... :)

Gucci gun culture

What a simply great image!!

They know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

I'm sure Kylie would be wonderful in Westminster, but aren't there enough arses there already ??
