Flawed

Maybe I am wrong
And there’s nothing for us here
All was washed away with my every tear

I have hope
That all my love has not been spent
I am honest but no longer innocent

Yes, I am flawed
But if you’d just look then you would see
That there’s so much more to me

Hi Kaitlin,

Welcome to the forum.

Nicely worked little poem. You manage to make the 'I' universal.
Reminds me a little of Coda by Louis MacNeice.

Cam

Thanks

Thanks for your comment. This is one of my shortest poems. I plan on posting a few more but I like reviewing others as well. I have not read Coda but I will look into that. Thanks again.
