We argued about a chirping bird.
Which hung from a tree making noise.
But do I dare overhear its chirping words?
Which makes me think I have no choice?

My brother and I argue about animals.
They shoot like feet through wild grass.
Do they have an appetite like cannibals?
Do they have to be strong as brass?

The birds have to be filled with willpower.
While I have to overstep mating calls.
I hope they don’t have to tower.
Our daily lives before but after all.

Our thoughts to the one with the nibbles.
We wonder if the birds would waddle, come.
Not like the one who comes with kibbles.
I follow your chirping to the light of the sun.

The very innocence of our sheer existence.
Then that would be the end of them.
Of course, there is a strange persistence.
These birds remind me of a wren.

But of course, the hour of which we sigh.
Of extending a hand to the creatures.
Is it better we say goodbye to our life?
Or extend a hello to our teachers?

How about we say hello to the birds.
Then leave them to their chirping.
Perhaps leave them to their words.
Then go take some noodle slurping.

Hi Poet,
having a hard time with this one: too long, too much nonsense and the nibbles/kibbles rhyme is hard to forgive :)

We argued about a chirping bird.
Which hung from a tree making noise.
- if it's 'chirping', by definition it's 'making noise' - so what's the point of this line?

1.
My brother and I argue about animals.
We argued about a chirping bird.
we tear each other like cannibals

2.
................

3.
Then leave them to their chirping.
How about we say goodbye to the birds.
Then go....................... noodle slurping.

Thanks not, this is a ballad so the length of the poem had to this way, I was trying to follow the meter (Iambic pentameter) and well... I guess the nonsense parts have to go, I will work on this more. The strophe where you mentioned the making noise line I will fix that. Like I said, I was just trying to follow a meter.
