circles

the steady beat of your
mouth running ripples around mine
the paining seep of dust
pegs my hands down
to more pain
rooted in desire
I seek nothing more than

I am nothing less than

take with you what you will
solid is not my strong point
madness takes a firm hold but not today, today
I am surging slightly but contained
in candlelight contours
creeping softly down the sinews of your spine
where i feel at home

there is no flesh only bone
hard and uncompromising
yet peaceful in its resolve
to break only,
never bend,
but break only
in the end

I take my leave of you
my friend

Desi,

London, California...hmmm, its down in the same large valley that I live in. Its a small town of perhaps a thousand people, but has managed to be the largest drug producer in five counties... As to a dreariness contest? I don't know who would win; we haven't seen the sun in three weeks (we've lots of fog in the winter). You tell me...
