The warm delicious, after meal present,
That warms the cockles and is ever so pleasant;

Pudding, pudding, what shall it be?
Pudding, pudding, we shall soon see!
With spoonfulls of sweet delectable jam,
That smooths the throat after veggies and lamb.

The warming sensation, that caresses your throat,
The tingling feeling that can never be taught;

Pudding, pudding, what shall it be?
Pudding, pudding, we shall soon see!
With spoonfulls of sweet delectable jam,
That smooths the throat after veggies and lamb.

The taste of sugar and juice filled plums,
Takes the pressure off, bad cooking mums;

Pudding, pudding, what shall it be?
Pudding, pudding, we shall soon see!
With spoonfulls of sweet delectable jam,
That smooths the throat after veggies and lamb.

The pudding has gone and all worry remains,
Of the dreadful jam, irremovable stains;

Pudding, pudding, what shall it be?
Pudding, pudding, we shall soon see!
With spoonfulls of sweet delectable jam,
That smooths the throat after veggies and lamb.

I like to mention strengths first, others leave it to the end. But I actually liked that it is a child's song, playful, repetitive stanzas and rhyming. That was undoubtedly intentional, and I think appropriate for the audience.

I liked the line:

"The taste of sugar and juice filled plums,
Takes the pressure off, bad cooking mums;"

I would just watch for repetitions in adjectives and metaphors, containing the words "warm," "sweet," and "throat." Some of the rhyming seemed to be forced, but I'm not sure of it. And I was also wondering as to the meaning of this phrase:

"The tingling feeling that can never be taught"

What does it mean?

I'm dense, I know.
