Some Dark Poetry

When I'm Dead
When I'm dead,
Remember what you said.
We were supposed to be wed,
But instead,
I found you in bed,
With a guy named Fred.
You ran off and fled,
And left me for dead.
Well now you've got your bread,
Buttered with easy spread.
Just dont you dare tread,
On my new found bed.

Desecrate holiness
End the dreadfull resprect
Sacrifice the worshipers
Evil is my accomplishment
Creating violation of angels
Reaching my peak
And blasphemy caused
Totalling your pure soul
Impurity it turns
Offensive to a moral standard
Now violating your sanctity.

Slavery
Use bondage to bound me.
Make me your prisoner,
And hold me in captivity.
Reduce to enslavement,
Hold me spellbound with enthralment.
Turn me into your serfdom.
Be my thraldom,
And i'll be your vassalage.
Be as drudgery as you wish.
Just keep me alive,
So that we can do this,
Over and over again.

This is indeed truly horrific.

That statement is entirely subjective and duplicious to boot...I love it.

Welcome evil.

In my opinion, this ain't very dark and its a bit (cough) trite (cough, cough).

Look forward to more.

second and third ones are quite intriguing, but the first poem is rubbish i'm afraid.

I was about to ask about that - I mean they could be darker.

They do seem a bit tame for horror poetry...

You'll fit in very nicely here.

I think you'll find us majorally liberal, if not desensitized, to a fault. Post away. If you offend somebody, he's sure to tell you, even though the offensive response your work garners should not influence the barometer or the volume of your posts.

those offended by the work were not forced to read it.

There's only one thing i'm offended by, and that's the first poem!

Sorry I'm joking. But, seriously, 'eve' (if I may), when you have two other poems of superior quality, and some others which are better (I visited your website), why lead off with that one?

Unless 'When I'm Dead' was written in a fit of irony.

pb -

was it the rhyme or the content that turned you off?

I found you in bed,
With a guy named Fred.

Too hilarious?

I'm perplexed, is this true? is this comedy? is this for rhyme's sake?

That poem i found him in bed, with a guy named fred, was actually a true accurance of someone I know, she was engaged to a guy and yes she found him in bed with another male, not named fred though.
I shall now explain poems.
I have wrote hundreds of poems and most are in books so to protect copyright i cant post them, so these are ones that are not used, but the order or stlye of the poems should not matter as, as a poet we all know that we can write crap and brilliant, but each poem will be read and thought about differently to each person, so i cannot really list one good one with two good ones as others will think if different.
But i am not degraded by bad comments as at the end of the day im not here to please everyone and if i could do that i would be a bloody millionaire. So im glad that you comment truthfully.

eve, I'm inclined to agree, I think we should be honest, and I think it's all subjective. Pseud, I couldn't say whether it was the rhyme or the content, perhaps the fact that the latter had been (we have eve's admission) mutilated to suit the former.

I agree we should be supportive, but I also wish to avoid descending into hypocrisy, so i said what i thought.

The poem 'When I'm Dead' was witty, amusing and probably true to life.

I am extremely sorry to go off on one here... I have no claim to being a great poet but this set of poems and the site which accompanies them is absolutely APPALLING. It's a sad world when there are plenty of extremely talented poets on a forum like this and that such poor stuff can find print on the back of being 'horror poetry', even if it was published by the ridiculous noion that is 'Publish America'.

The first poem is the most terrible thing I've read in a very very long time and the second and third poems use description totally out of context - suggesting that you have no idea what the words mean.

I apologise if I sound too aggressive or even elitist about this but in suggesting that you have written 'hundreds of poems' but 'they're all in books' you sound totally absurd.

You have one book, full of awful 'horror' poetry that only an idiot buying something for their son on the most ridiculous of holidays; 'Halloween' would ever buy this terrible collection.

I would just like to say sorry I havent been on here in ages, I've been busy. But everyone is entitled to their opinions and I'm not out to please everybody.
There's nothing wrong with being published by PA and I'm sure thousands of other PA authors would agree with me. At the end of the day whoever publishers me pays me the same and still my books are out. I'm not complainging about PA and I personally think that whoever publishers me go about the publishing in the same way, at the end one way or the other I get paid and ppl buy my book.
I still appreciate all the bad comments as, as I said before I cant please everyone and if I could, I would be the riches woman in the world.
