Type a load of random letters into Word, break them up into word sized lengths, then go through and spell check each 'word'. Use the list of words you create in a poem. You can change tense of the words so long as you stick to the root word.
I tried this yesterday, it's fun. I ended up with about 60 words, and apart from a few minor words, all the words in this poem are from my list. I found it really interesting how a theme seemed to rise from the randomness.
This is my attempt...
Diva
he asks again
gnaws at the edge
of her sunfish silk shoes
she denies
his cajoling eyes
sinks into sleep
in lieu of fury
he travels the maze
skulks in alleys
deposits this rusted self
beneath layers
of basalt
and speaks his oath
with fervent eye
his vast envy
blotches the earth
hues of oyster
ebbing from her
jutting jowls

Amps akimbo I appal the Prof
as he pacifies the palfrey the FPC
jounced from the apse.
Was he ever a gaper?
Or an apelike eater of apostate fajitas?
Did Paoli appear to him
on the pouffe, knee-jerk if Ken
ten-seconds past apogee
left the apolar KG ajar
on woof if alga nib...

Hmm, I think my typing of random letter was biased towards the middle of the keyboard...
I also had to add a lot of small words, prepositions and such-like.
And I'm afraid the last line is just all the words I have left, I'm still not sure what an "alga" is
Fun though!

Rosencrantz: What are you playing at? Guildenstern: Words. Words. They're all we have to go on.

lol I'm guessing there's random and random then. I think you have to be selective about which words you choose from your spellcheck options.
