From Mike Loveday, Editor of Fourteen:

"It's that time of year when 14 magazine is looking for an artist to illustrate the next issue, 13, which will be appearing in the spring. Each issue of the magazine features artwork from a guest illustrator. Issue 12 featured thirteen photographs by Anne-Marie Glasheen. For issue 13, we're looking for artwork (drawings, photographs, collages, paintings etc) that will work when reproduced in black and white and which suit the square format of the magazine itself (15cm x 16cm). The artwork need not be brand new material, but consideration will be given to suitability of each artist's style and themes to the poems in issue 13 itself.
The chosen artist will receive complimentary copies of the magazine, and is able to buy further copies of the issue they are in, at discounted rate. Thanks to funding received from Kingston Writing School for issue 13, the chosen artist will also receive £140 fee. If you are interested, or if you have friends or contacts who you think might be interested, any applicants should email the magazine at fourteenmag@gmail.com (with subject heading "issue 13 artwork"). Please send 8-10 example images in the first instance, as attachments, and / or a link to a website with the same. Deadline for applicants is 31st December 2011."

That's interesting Brian, I'll let Mrs Nash know, see if she's interested.

Cheers.
