the artist

Leafing through back copies of 'the artist' magazine just now, I was stopped in my tracks by a piece in last September's edition - a reproduction of one of my pictures, together with a paragraph I'd written on the artistic process. I'd completely forgotten writing it. Must've been ages ago. Lovely to see it. Glad I didn't chuck the magazine into the recycling.
