Really pleased to have just had a poem accepted by Ink Sweat & Tears. Always liked this venue. It will be posted on their site on Jan 31st, which is a pretty good turn around time as I only submitted it on Dec 23rd.

Cheers,

Tristan

My poem is up at Ink Sweat & Tears. Nell Ivory was incredibly nice about it on Twitter saying “Succinct but with so much power”.

Think this yet again shows how subjective poetry is, as I know Mac you weren’t that sure about this poem as to be honest I wasn’t too.

Congrats Tristan. Yes, I think I misread the poem, but it is an image that impacts and engages.

Hi Mac,

Thanks. I’m not sure you did misread this poem to be honest. Once you’ve written a poem and sent it out there, it’s no longer yours IMO, it belongs to those who read it.

Cheers.
