Afternoon all,

There’s a group of folks from PAT in the October Snakeskin (short poems): Fliss, David, Ray, me. Some things workshopped here. Well done all!

Cheers,
John

I didn't realise it was Short Poems month. Fortunately I'd included a short one anyway. Huzzah.

Thank-coos and ta muchly, John and MacPhil. John, thanks again for the reading! I'd always wanted to write a poem about pterodactyls in dactyl meter (^v^) (W.-B. approves!)

Great to see Susan McLean there too, and also Christine Pennylegion, whom I e-met recently; she seems very pleasant. And Jerome! (^v^)

Plus, that is a splendid name. Yes, there's a fair crowd this month!

Cheerie,
John

PS pterodactyls in dactyl meter! It needed to be done.

Glad to be in such illustrious company for my first publication ever in this months Snakeskin.

Counting the slow heart beats,
The bleeding to death of time in slow heart beats,
Wakeful they lie.

Congratulations Tony! It is a good one. And it at least shows that you are actually a Tony (and not, for instance, an Anton, or something of that ilk).

Did you see my comment on The Grey Horse? I liked that too.

Cheers

Congratulations to you all.
Signature info:
If you don't like the black theme, it is easy to switch to a lighter color. Just ask me how.
If I don't critique your poem, it is probably because I don't understand it.

Well done everyone, some great stuff.

Is George a secret talent scout on PAT I wonder? I think of Snakeskin as EratoThreat monthly. It's much quicker to count the poets on there I don't know from either of those two places.

My feeling is that George just likes good poetry, and PAT sent in a bunch this month. And I got lucky. Yup, lots of familiar names.

Cheers,
John
