Face.

She looked as though her face had been broken before, the color and feel of her skin reminiscent of some kind of glue, her features pasted together with the residue of tears, her jaw loose in the wake of that useless ambition. Her image was so immersed in that lull that hums after bad, frightening dreams that she never saw the ambiguous edge of his shadow sharpen, and when she felt it cut into her, a dark and wet blade of history, she was unable to say goodbye, feeling only the bones of her cheeks crumble along with the rest of her face…

Is this a description of your profile pic? It seems so.

At it stands, that's all this is. It feels like the beginning or end of something, but on its own I'm not convinced it works.

This worked for me on a dark level. This was at times though almost too gothic for my taste, but three cheers to you Poe would be proud.

This stands on its own as a photograph of sorts, in that it freezes an image in time. I think this works wonderfully
