This is well-cool, offelias.
I love the structure and rhyme. The thoughts/quotes in italics are very well written. A nice wry look at life. Simple language used to superb effect.
I'm trying hard to find constructive nits, but failing (perhaps punctuation, but that would be very rich coming from me).

Thanks Nar - I noticed on this forum that italics are used quite a lot so I thought I'd give it a go. It seems a great way to differentiate or emphasise. Noted about the punctuation
