Hello! I'm delph_ambi, aka Catherine Edmunds. I'm a musician by profession, a writer for fun (and cash) and an artist at heart. This looks like a fabulous forum. I used to get kicked off forums all the time for refusing to say "wow!!!!" or "thank you for sharing!" but I'm confident this won't be a problem here. If I get into trouble, blame Brian. He invited me. I think. Or maybe I just found the place and nagged him to let me in? Can't remember.

Hi Sharra. A very small amount of cash trickles in every six months in the form of royalties cheques for a couple of novels and a poetry collection, so whilst I'm not quite in JK Rowling's league (yet) I keep trying.

Hi Ben, and thank you for the welcome. My user name is a shortened form of the wild flower delphinium ambiguum (English name larkspur) which I picked at random from a book some years back when trying to think up a distinctive chatroom name.
