Hi,
New to the forum, I'll just slip in quietly and sit at the back of the class..
Best wishes

Hi
Hello Sue,
Welcome to PG.
Feel free to stand on a chair at the front of the class and tell us all about yourself!
I've been bunking off for a while, I'll probably be sneaking back into class soon and hoping no one notices that I've been hanging about over the back of the playing fields.
Look forward to reading your work.

Hi, Sue—welcome! I think you'll feel comfortable here once you get posting.
I'm always glad to welcome anyone but especially more women (but then I'm remembering Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue"!)

Thank you for the warm welcome!
If I can stand on that chair for just a moment, to say I don't regularly read or write poetry, but have done in the past and feel more drawn to it recently. I do however like words, and came here for a bit of exploration, and maybe to learn a bit.
Best wishes
