A couple of years ago my brain engaged with the world; I think for the first time, and now from thence thus, I enjoy nothing more than learning stuff. l then loathed grammar, the arts et cetera, looking on with a tabula rasa but (and metre free or four or three), trying ergo to sound too twee, that block was the old me, when eyelids were mouldy, from whence I could not see, thine beauty within thee, and now my day and night (I work alone with time enough) are spent lavishly (well, when not on site) listening to and reading stuff.

I've not really done poetry before (please read the above) so I can't possibly comment on another's penmanship from a critical perspective but I'll most definately post a post of support to something I like. I've read a fair bit from the likes of Byron and the Avon Bard et cetera over the last twelve months or so and became familiar (to a small extent) with metre. So I hope to post a sonnet at some point for despoilment by your good selves. And an apology from myself for the amount of brackets seen above, I type on my phone so my parenthesis is limited somewhat.
